Maxwell is both a dangerous and morally unacceptable man

When my life is over, there will be many who would be critical of me. But when I die I will look back and say I have no regrets. I called it the way I saw it. Those who don’t like me felt I was too common because after all you have to be common to have chastised them because they are beyond reproach.
People should dare not pen even a word of reproach much less be scathing in their criticism of these people.
I could call name after name but I won’t even bother. I will continue to be unafraid. The status and wealth of certain citizens and organizations will not deter me. I don’t take my plate to them. They never did anything for me. I am not interested in having their company. Their wealth does not and will never interest me.
I am a philosophy student, forever dressed in blue jeans, sitting on the corner with his sandwich in his hand. I am happy with that ambience.
I have always found it morally depraved when people consistently castigate and condemn others, using strong language and hide their name and face. It is a moral sickness that is scornful.
Whatever your views are on Glenn Lall, he is a brave man. He risked his life and his business operations in exposing the carcinogenic miasma in the rule of the Jagdeo/Ramotar cabal. Because of his newspaper’s crusade, Mr. Lall’s wife was victimized. Against this background, I will never know why Mr. Lall has never said to his pen-name columnist that if he, Lall could risk so much to be open, why Peeping Tom should continue to personally attack hundreds of people from under the petticoat of his mother.
Whoever writes that column (someday I’ll tell you) is definitely not a person with even a modicum of moral and ethical fibre. We have the new kid on the block, Mosquito News. It is co-edited by Ruel Johnson who told me so. I asked Johnson who is his co-editor at Mosquito News. Johnson has flatly refused to say. This is surprising for a man who wasn’t afraid to openly criticize a semi-fascist government in Guyana.
It just goes to show how a mouth can be muzzled by the hand that feeds it (see my June 3, 2015 column titled, “Criticizing President Granger from behind a mosquito net,”) Don’t expect to see any positive comment on my writings and/or political activism from Mosquito News. I have chalked up yet another enemy because I touched an untouchable. It comes with the territory.
From time to time, persons I know both in the media and politics, have tried to communicate with M. Maxwell through the e-mail address that M. Maxwell uses. Maxwell never replied. The answer is obvious. Maxwell doesn’t want to be known. The Maxwell anonymity brings me into problems with people and that is where I get a bad name and I accumulate detractors.
Kaieteur News and Stabroek News have enunciated a policy of letter-writers supplying proof of their real existence. That policy must have deterred countless people who wanted to submit a false name but felt they would have been rejected if they didn’t supply proof.
I am going to name two seniors at the Kaieteur News that I have complained to about the Maxwell farce – Editor-in Chief Adam Harris and his deputy Nigel Mc Kenzie. I have not raised the issue with Stabroek News because I know I would be ignored. What kind of people are Guyanese? They never cease to amaze me. Why ignore your policy-guide so barefacedly?
I find that Maxwell seems to be wary of Kaieteur News since for a long time his letters are absent but he makes full use of Stabroek News. Maxwell is at it again. In the SN of Tuesday, July 28, he wrote that the AFC-APNU government has engaged in dictatorial escapades since it came to power. The new government is only two months old yet Maxwell finds it dictatorial. Then surely, every other government has to be dictatorial including the Obama administration.
Maxwell becomes a dangerous man. You see, others may want to be brave like Maxwell and independent in their thoughts and openly denounce the Granger Government. But they may face retaliation while Maxwell happily goes about his business hiding his face and name. Morally this is outrageous. And the newspapers should put an end to it. But I doubt it. No one will ask the KN and SN for an answer. Why would they?
Do Guyanese know what moral values are? Ask Peeping Tom, M. Maxwell and Mosquito News
